Come chill with the Chigger at the 27th Annual Chigger Chase run at Ardmore Regional Park! Run through the Festival of Lights to kick off the Christmas season with your family and friends. 

Changes to the Children's Run - We've changed the Children's Run this year so that kiddos up to the age of 12 will also run through the lights! All children registered to run will start with the Chigger at the inflated start line, run out 1/4 mile, and run back a 1/4 mile through the finish line. Kiddos of all ages are encouraged to dress in festive costumes! Word is we might have some fun prizes. 

Runners of all ages are encouraged to register for the 5K run through the Christmas lights. Will you be one of the fast runners who catches the Speedy Chigger? You also have the option of a 1-mile fun run or walk. Get in the spirit by wearing your festive attire! 

If you want one of our great souvenir t-shirts, be sure to register no later than October 22nd! We cannot guarantee a t-shirt after October 22nd. Race-day registration will be available until 4:00 p.m. on November 18th.

We are excited to welcome back the Girls on the Run for their Fall 2023 Celebratory 5K! This untimed event for Girls on the Run participants and their Running Buddies celebrates everyone's accomplishments. 

Date and Time - Arrive early to park and participate in pre-event activities.

4:00 pm Race-day registration closes! 
4:30 pm Start time for the Children's Chigger Chase 1/2 mile Run
5:00 pm Mascot Race
5:30 pm Start time for the 5k Chigger Chase and 1-mile Fun Run
5:40 pm Start time for Girls on the Run 5k

Races
5K, 1 mile fun run, children's 1/2 mile run, and Girls on the Run 5K. All races are untimed except for the Chigger Chase 5K.

Note: Parking will be near the softball fields. Plan to arrive early enough for a short walk over to the Pavilion.
